Alpen Blick Snow Resort was formerly known as Ikenotaira Ski Resort (until a recent change of ownership). In addition to the new park zone called "Mavericks" and an additional tree run created in 2021, Alpen Blick Snow Resort is suited to beginner to intermediate skiers/boarders with mellow, wide groomers, some mellow, inbound treed areas as well as an opportunity to introduce the kids to some mellow, side country skiing.

Ideally, head to Alpen Blick Snow Resort (Ikenotaira) on a fresh 5 to 20cm snowfall. The pitch is not really steep enough for 30cm days which are quite common in January and February in Myoko.

Alpen Blick Snow Resort is located at Ikenotaira Onsen Hot Spring Area and only 10mins from Akakura Onsen Village (in which Myoko Ski Lodge is located).
