Myoko Ski Lodge
Akakura Onsen has the only night skiing available in Myoko, where they usually set up some park features. Though mostly east-facing, the resort has some north-facing runs that keep good snow when the sun is baking the rest of Akakura.
Akakura Onsen ski resort is immediately adjacent to Akakura Onsen village (and your Myoko Ski Lodge accommodation in Akakura Onsen village).
This ski area caters well for families with young children with English speaking ski instructors and great value lift pass deals for families.
The nearest chairlift is an easy 4 minute walk, down hill from your Akakura Onsen accommodation at Myoko Ski Lodge and our prime location means, once the snow base kicks in, you can ski right back to the lodge for lunch or a quick cuppa.
If they were related, Akakura Onsen family ski area would be the bigger sister of Australia's Falls Creek, combining wonderfully wide ski runs within a delightfully Japanese atmosphere and much more snow, yet lift tickets for as little as half the price!
